To download the CD images, please download the .zip file that contains each of the four files below, with each to be burned on a separate CD-R:

When you click on these files, they should automatically start the burning/finalization process automatically. Software such as ImageBurn (http://imgburn.com/) can assist some PC users.

Version 1.1.1 Operating System for the OASYS features a couple of small bug fixes and low-level improvements. As always, we recommend that ALL OASYS owners update to this new operating system.
Note: You must already be running Version 1.1 to install this update, you cannot skip from lower versions directly to this version.

Mac/PC software that allows you to use the award-winning KARMA Version 2.0 technology with the Korg OASYS. KARMA OASYS software runs on your PC/Mac and communicates with your Korg OASYS via a standard MIDI Interface connection.

KARMA OASYS Software Features:
• Complete access to the 400+ parameters making up a KARMA GE (Generated Effect). These parameters are mostly hidden in the OASYS with a maximum of 32 being available (per GE), but you can view and edit all of them using the software, along with the Performance parameters associated with each KARMA Module.
• Graphical editing and creation of Drum Patterns, Rhythm Patterns, Duration Patterns, Index Patterns, Cluster Patterns, Velocity Patterns, CC Patterns, Wave-Sequence Patterns, Envelopes, Note Maps, and more!
• Create new GEs, and edit existing GEs into new configurations. Download the GEs to the OASYS via MIDI SysEx Dump, or via export to a .KGE file.
• One-step MIDI (SysEx) upload/download of Programs, Combis, Drum Kits & other OASYS data.
• Import phrases and drum grooves from the OASYS's internal sequencer, or from any .MID source (such as external sequencers) and transform them into KARMA GEs. Automatically assign GE Parameters and RTC Models and instantly begin varying your phrase in the usual KARMA manner.
• Captivating, real-time visual display of the generated MIDI data.
• Popup tooltips and context-sensitive Help provide comprehensive documentation of all features.
• Available for both Mac OS X and Windows XP platforms (Vista compatibility available later).

This third party software application is a librarian as well as a sound creation and compositional tool for the Korg OASYS. This software is compatible with Windows 95/98, ME, NT4, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Vista. A free trial version is available.

For the OASYS users who are also using the software program "LOGIC" from Apple: This is a LOGIC environment, which supports choosing sounds by names, and is current through the STR-1 Expansion Instrument.
