Operating System Version 1.06

This is the latest Operating System update for the TRITON Extreme. This update addresses a small bug.

The TRITON Extreme uses the CompactFlash slot to receive the O.S. Data. For this reason, you need to have a CompactFlash reader/writer attached to your computer to complete this upgrade.

If you do not have a CompactFlash reader/writer for your computer, you can install CompactFlash media into your TRITON Extreme, and use the USB STORAGE MODE of the TRITON Extreme (In the MEDIA mode) to copy the files via USB. To accomplish this you will need a USB cable.

A full set of instructions and release history is included in this download in a .pdf document.

Please review the terms and conditions before downloading.

MAC:Soundware:StudioSoundBox.hqx

Studio Soundbox Sound Collection
A treasure-trove of new sounds for your TRITON-series workstation. The first 64 all-new sounds were programmed by acclaimed LA synth programmer David Polich, who has made sounds for some of the top-selling synths of the last few years. These sounds cover a wide range of acoustic instrument emulations, with full controller assignments and arp settings.

Added to the file are some Programs made using only SAW waves to show off the synthesis power of the TRITON, made by Korg programmer Jack Hotop. Next up are the Lead sounds Jack made for Tom Coster which have been available on our site for some time now. Rounding out the collection are a group of dance/synth sounds developed during the PCM-09 Trance Attack project which use only ROM waveforms, so they can be used in any TRITON without needing the EXB-PCM09 board. Finally, we've included two template programs for using mono or stereo samples. The Bank will automatically load into the "E" Bank. A full name/category list is included in the download.
