Only use this if you receive the error below while installing the USB-MIDI Driver (V1.12 or later) on Windows 7

If you have previously installed KORG USB-MIDI Driver Tools 1.11, you may run into the error message "Internal Error. K_coinst.exe" when installing KORG USB-MIDI Driver Tools 1.12 on a Windows 7 computer.

Please follow the instructions below to remedy this.

1. Download the file and unzip it to any location.
2. Double-click "V111fix.exe".
3. Click [Execute]. (This may take a little while to process)
4. Click [Close] when the process has completed.
5. Install DrvTools 1.12 for KORG USB-MIDI Driver V1.12.

Editor Librarian Version 2.0
The microKONTROL originally came with a Librarian Program. This has been upgraded to the microKONTROL Editor / Librarian Version 2.0. This new version adds the ability to edit the function of each and every controller, to swap and copy controller functions within a scene, as well as copying controller functions from scene to scene.

With these new Editing functions, you can use your computer to quickly and easily personalize the microKONTROL to your own tastes, as well as to build libraries of scenes for your own applications. The computer environment enhances the parameter editing functions of the microKONTROL, providing "at-a-glance" displays of all current controller assignments and more.

The Version 2.0 Editor Librarian is available for Windows XP and Mac OS X.

Inside the compressed download file you will find the installer, installation instructions (.pdf) and a brief manual (.pdf).

This new system update adds some significant new functions to the microKONTROL, including:

- Sending Program Changes from the Main Encoder

- Control over MIDI Clock Tempo with fractional BPM accuracy

- Improved switching between Scenes

- Expanded Control Messages for applications using the KORG Native Mode

- Improved accuracy in recognizing whether the damper pedal is pressed down or not.

Note:
PC users - This updater is compatible with Windows XP only, do not try to run it with Windows 98/Me/2000.

Mac users - This updater requires MacOSX Version 10.2 or later. It will run under Rosetta on an IntelMac, but Korg cannot guarantee operation on every possible Macintosh system.

Please note that this updater is not currently compatible with Mac OS 10.6.8 or later.
