Drivers

ASIO Autotyper

MAC:Driver:oasys_pci_asio_autotyper.sit

ASIO Autotyper
OASYS PCI's ASIO drivers have their own file creator code, which marks them as having been created by Korg and allows them to have their own icon. Some programs, however, may inadvertently require an ASIO driver's file creator code to be that of Steinberg ("stCA"). Prosoniq SonicWORX Studio is one such program.

To use the OASYS PCI ASIO drivers with these programs, you first need to use the OASYS ASIO Autotyper program to change the driver's creator code to "stCA." For more information, see the documentation included with the download.

OASYS PCI sounds (including Multis, Programs, Patches, and Effects) are compatible between MacOS and Windows computers. If files have been created with the Windows version, and you then wish to use them on a MacOS computer, you must first use this program to set the files' type and creator codes; otherwise, the MacOS will not recognize them as OASYS PCI files. For more information, see the documentation included with the download.
