This file contains everything you need to install the proper Patch Names in Mark Of The Unicorn's FreeMIDI system. Mac users should download the .sea file, PC users the .zip file.

OS Version 1.07 Upgrade
This file contains a PC-based updater and documentation on how to use it and what it fixes in the MS-2000. This latest revision is compatible with Windows XP.

The main fixes are as follows:
- Tightened up the Arpeggio timing delay with MIDI Sync.

- Virtual Patch: smoothed out the minus Intensity Value when you specify SOURCE as VELOCITY, KBD TRACK, MIDI1 or MIDI2 and specify DESTINATION as OSC1CRT1. (Both Ver1.04 and Ver1.05 had this problem).

- Arpeggio Mode: Improved the first KEY ON timing when you specify KeySync = OFF

OS Version 1.05 Upgrade
This file contains a PC-based updater and documentation on how to use it and what it fixes in the MS-2000.

Users who have versions lower than 1.04 should absolutely perform this upgrade. Users who have version 1.04 will only see small delay depth edits to a few presets, so it "may" not be worth the effort. Korg always advises to use the most current OS.

To find your OS version hold the MOD SEQ and 5 keys while turning on the unit. The display will show My Version Is and two numbers. While they don't directly translate to 1.03, 1.04 if it has a 3 in it you have OS 1.03. If it has a 4 in it you have OS 1.04.

OMS Patch Names
This file includes OMS Patch Names for a number of Korg keyboards, including the Triton, Triton-Rack, Triton Studio, Triton Le, Karma, MS-2000 and a number of older products. They can be "subscribed to" within any OMS-compatible application, including CuBase, ProTool and Vision.

Logic Environment
For the MS-2000/2000R users who are also using the software program "LOGIC" from Emagic: This is a LOGIC environment, which supports choosing sounds by names.

Also supported is a virtual front-panel that can be used to edit or even create new sounds from scratch using Logic as a virtual synth editor!

KORG Templates
This download contains Template Scene Data that can instantly configure the KONTROL49 to provide real-time control of the Korg Legacy Collection (KLC-1); the MS2000 (all flavors: 2000, R, B, BR) the microKORG; and the EA-1 and ER-1 Electribes.

The KONTROL49 can even control an EA-1 and an ER-1 at the same time - knobs and sliders to the EA-1, Pads to the ER-1, etc.

This data can be loaded into your KONTROL49 using the Editor / Librarian program on the CD-ROM included with your KONTROL49. A separate Scene Set file is included to load all the KORG scenes at once.

Also included are .pdf documents showing the controller and port assignments, so you can print a hard copy for reference.

In addition, you'll find "Read Me" files in this download. Feel free to go ahead and read these documents to enjoy this download to its fullest.

128 Free Synth Sounds
A new set of 128 patches created by Korg & More, a division of Musik Meyer GmbH. The sounds are stored as MIDI System Exclusive data within a Standard MIDI File sequence. Use any computer sequencer to send the sounds into your MS2000 - be sure to enable System Exclusive on Global Mode before sending the sounds. Enjoy!

64 Free Synth Sounds
A new set containing 64 synth sounds plus 2 vocodor patches for the MS-2000. The sounds are stored as MIDI System Exclusive data within a Standard MIDI File sequence. Use any computer sequencer to send the sounds into your MS2000 - be sure to enable System Exclusive on Global Mode before sending the sounds. Enjoy!
